Wright Tavern History Festival: A Celebration of Concord’s History and Culture

Saturday, October 13th, 2018 • 11 am- 3 pm • The Wright Tavern • Sponsored by the Concord Museum • Free

Join Concord’s varied history and cultural organizations for living history, games, crafts, and hands-on activities. Representatives from the Robbins House, Old Manse, Walden Pond, Minute Man National Historical Park, Concord Art, and many more will celebrate with you. Learn about the role Concord played in the events of the Revolution, from the election of John Hancock as president of the Massachusetts Provincial Congress in Concord, October 11, 1774, to visits from the King’s army and its importance in 19th century American literature.
